The Collective Care Club is a new project that aims to organise socials, events, and nights out in and around Glasgow which prioritise accessibility and collective care in order to create spaces for those who cannot access, or do not feel welcome at, many traditional social events and spaces.
This is our first event and will be a "taster session" of sorts. There will be three main zones at the event:
- The Music Zone: where you can hang out, chat and queue up some tunes
- The Games Zone: where you can sit and play some tabletop or board games
- The Chill Zone: a quiet area to relax and decompress
There will also be (optional) opportunities to share your hopes and ideas for future events. What kind of events would you like to see? What would you need for these to be accessible to you?
What to bring?
- A respirator (FFP2 or better) if you have one, but we will also be providing free masks.
- Snacks if you need/want them (to be eaten outside)
- Board or video games (and controllers!) you'd like to play with others in the Games Zone
